Fit Code Lean Jeans Battle April 2017

Battle at the Code – the Lean Jeans Challenge is Back!

April 4, 2017 - May 20, 2017

It’s a battle of the bulge at Fit Code in April and May. The Fit Code Lean Jeans Challenge is back! And, for a bit of healthy competition, we’re turning it into a battle between all Fit Code locations.

What is the Lean Jeans Battle?

It’s a friendly 6-week competition that involves a strong focus on nutrition and body composition goals. Members who participate will receive education on nutrition basics and support to help keep them on track for short- and long-term success.

Who can compete?

You, of course. Plus any other existing or returning members. In fact, we will accept as many members as needed to accommodate those that want to participate.

What are the dates?

The program will run for 49 days, from April 4 to May 20, 2017. You can sign up at any Fit Code location from Thursday, March 23, through March 30.

Weigh-ins will be Wednesday and Thursday, March 30 and 31 at every location. Wear your jeans to the weigh in! We’ll also do an Inbody scan and provide you with a quick review of the results. You’ll also receive an informational Lean Jeans booklet and an explanation of the rules for this challenge.

A Lean Jeans Orientation Webinar will be held on March 31 at 11:30 am.

Weigh-outs will take place on Friday and Saturday, May 19 and 20, 2017.

What does it cost?

The cost is $69 for members and $219 for returning members (if space allows).

How does the challenge work?

  • The Fit Code location with the biggest percentage of bodyfat lost and pounds shed is the winner (we will add the average of the two).
  • Members can use the Habit App to help track your behavior (and earn bonus points for habit trackers turned in)
  • We will charge a 5-pound penalty for each person who does not participate in the weigh out at the end of the challenge.
  • The location with the largest percentage of participants will earn a 10-pound bonus for location with largest percentage of participants
  • Earn credit by checking in on FB or Instagram (#FitCodeLeanJeans17) and for writing reviews. You’ll get 1 pound for each check in and can earn up to 3 pounds per week. You can also earn 1 pound for writing a review of your location. Be sure to name your FitCode location!
  • Participate in a weekly weigh in (1 pound penalty for each missed weigh in)
  • Members will receive support through the Lean Jeans based nutrition program and online Facebook Group pages.
  • Our Facebook Group pages will be kept friendly, and everyone will support one another in their journey. Regardless of location, we are all still family and we want our family to succeed!

What are the prizes?

The winning location will receive

  • a Swag Bag full of awesome stuff, including new Fit Code t-shirts designed just for the winners, Shaker bottles, and Gift Certificates
  • Team trophy for location
  • Pictures of Ryan and Nick in their speedos
  • Member’s only workout with coach of choice (if that coach is available)

The member with the greatest fat percentage loss* will receive

  • 1st place: a Gift Certificate for a 3-Day CRUISE
  • 2nd place: $100 in supplements

The member with the greatest amount of weight loss* will receive

  • 1st place: a Gift Certificate for a 3-Day CRUISE
  • 2nd place: $100 in supplements

*Must be separate people

  1. How is Lean Jeans different from the 15-in-6 challenge? We will focus on the skills and habits that lead to success and not on a strict meal plan. Whole foods, prepping, having reward meals, etc. This is all about the habits. The results for most people won’t be as dramatic but they will be even more dramatic long term if they sustain what they learned during the program. This will also focus on getting into a smaller pair of jeans as opposed to dropping 15 lbs or 6% BF. The body composition change is what we are looking for here.
  2. Are you really giving away Gift Certificates that are good for three nights in the Caribbean or anywhere of a person’s choosing? Darn skippy we are. We have done it before and we will do it again!
  3. Do I have to post on Facebook or Instagram? You do not but it will earn your team bonus points.
  4. What happens if I don’t complete the challenge? Your team will lose points.
